How did you use the elements of Art (line, color, pattern, visual texture, shapes, values) to enhance or hide the folding?
I used color, visual texture, pattern, and words to enhance my folding. The camo pattern conveyed that the message on the project is some sort of a war. A non violent war over preserving the countries trees. The color also helped send a similar message. The words obviously delivered the very blunt message, but the color and patterns helped emphasize. When the design is opened it shows a hidden tree.
What is your audience supposed to think of the design? What "clues" have you give them to make them think that?
I wanted the message of my design to be to conserve our trees and protect our forests. I portrayed this by writing the words "going green?" with the answer: "you're going the wrong way" with pictures of bulldozers and patterns of red and green camo to convey this message of non violent war. When the design is opened it shows a tree. It is a peaceful symbol in an otherwise angry looking design, what with camouflage covering the whole thing.
