This piece is done by Shepard Fairey. The main elements used in this add used for President Obamas 2008 campaign are color and line. They help present the picture more clearly. There is no hidden message in this design. The message is very clear. Hope. For everything, the country, the president, the public, etc.
This design was done by Milton Glaser. The main element used in this is color. The change in color helps distinguish this picture from two overlapping hearts, to a deeper message. The deeper message in this design is that love is not always a good thing. I think he's showing that love is not always the answer.
This design was done by AESTHETIC APPARATUS. They used color, texture, typography, and line to portray this design. I think the message in this design is to not take everything so seriously. It portrays a higher ranking official in the military, but with vibrant colors, covering half his face and body, with a cartoon bunny in the corner. Nothing says kids like cartoon bunnies.

1. What elements of art do you see as most important in his work?
Line, color, shape, and texture are the most important elements of art that play a role in his artwork

2. Which of the principals of design are most important to his work?

Color and shape are very important principals in his work

3. What makes his images interesting to you? How does his work INVOLVE the viewer?

His artwork is very interesting to me because i like the type of design he does. I am a big fan of symmetry. I always like how neat and clean he looks. I would describe his work as controlled chaos. He involves color and texture to make it look crazy, but at the same time makes it look controlled. He involves the viewer because he uses lines and shapes to draw the viewers eye around the image.
